Without a doubt, the best restaurant in Braintree. Staff are attentive, food is excellent without massive waiting times and prices aren't sky high.I generally order one of the steaks and it's always cooked as requested.Portions are always enough, I've never left hungry. Recommend booking in advance as they get busy at weekends.

Had a really enjoyable meal. Well presented and very reasonable. Waitresses were very nice and helpful.
Lovely food and great atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for somewhere a bit more classy than an average eaterie in the Braintree town area.
Had an excellent lunch. Had scallop ceviche , smoked brisket and onion pie with mash and greens followed by a chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce (at least 70% cocoa solids chocolate I would guess from the taste). There was only one front of house staff member, but she was very pleasant and efficient. Well worth the visit. Will be back.
