UPDATE - This review was given for Cool Beans cafe which has since closed I believe. Lovely food but oh dear very poor service. We pre-ordered but still waited 45 minutes for our food (sandwiches) and 2 people were still forgotten. Not planning to return any time soon.

Best coffee I've tested in Essex- very smooth and served with water, which I didn't ask for but shows this place knows how to serve coffee. As a veggie there's some menu items that look good (but not many- yet). Friday & Saturday nights it seems to turn into a wine bar ( the wine list looks extensive but it doesn't say if there veggie friendly - the West Street vineyard in Coggeshal makes veggie ok wine).
the aesthetic is stunning, very cosy and friendly. lovely, friendly service and great coffee. my new favourite coffee place : )
Pleasant cafe, had a good expresso coffee. One of the few places in UK that do it properly. Namely serving the coffee with a glass of water without being promoted.
