Everytime I've been there the food has been spot on. I've never had any complaints. Theres also an indoor soft play area.
Find the food OK but not great, best to book in advance otherwise they claim they're too busy even if it looks half empty. Great place to go with kids due to the soft play
Very large pub with a wide selection of food to accommodate everyone, staff are very helpful with allergies or intolerances. Plenty of room to sit and activities for children including a little play area. Not a very loud pub so easy to talk to people
Saturday evening cold dark wet called in on way home. Almost empty. This place is gradually going to seed. Shabby, dingy, badly in need of a makeover. Slightly grubby and uncared for. Makes you wonder if the kitchens are in the same state. Staff very inattentive and thin on ground. However, Food was good, reasonably priced, and arrived not and promptly. Would i spend Christmas Day here? Only if desperate. Used to be very good but have recently been underwhelmed.
Great breakfast selection. Gluten free options, vegetarian sausages and egg variations available on request. 2 children eat free for each adult purchasing a full breakfast. Only wish they served a little later l, say til 11/1130.
