Staffed worked very hard but like most places it's understaffed. Overall seem very pleasant. Great value
Good supermarket just up the road from me but i do wish they had a quick check out system when youve only a couple of bits to avoid queing when its busy .
Good range of food in store and there is always something you'll buy from the middle section you didn't go in for that you end up buying. However... There are never enough staff in to serve the customers. I've stood at the till for about 10 minutes before whilst a manager just stood there looking at the massive queue develop. When you do go through the till, the items you've bought will be scanned through so fast you'll think you're on an old 1990s game show where you have to try and pack your bag before the timer runs out. This seems to be the normal way of doing ot at Lidl so it's not unique to this store.
Not a great experience, parking tight, coin needed for trolley, price tags missing of items, floor staff a rare sight to ask, fresh bread/bakery doesn't look hygienic! Centre aisles of miscellaneous looks like a jumble sale, eight tills two cashiers! And ques are long, cashier closes till before replacement, no support for cashiers when assistant bell rung, waited longer to pay then shop!!Not impressed.....they don't do minus stars on this rating which I believe this one needs it.Good luck.
A very good place to shop. The fresh produce is very good.and very reasonable pricedIt has a good selection of beers, wines and spirits also reasonably priced.They also sell a good range of continental type food, the ones I have tried were very good quality.The centre isle has has all types of things for sale which is updated weekly.The standard British type products are very good and very reasonably priced.Disabled car parking is available and wheelchair access to the shop looks pretty good.The only drawback shopping here is at busy times the queues at the checkouts can be quite long.If you want to save money on most of your weekly shop I recommend give Lidl a go.
