Placed a 79 order for delivery this evening, September 14th at 19:05. We were informed it would be with us at 20:05. At 20:05 I was informed it was en route by the useful Just Eat app. 30 minutes later our food had not arrived and we called the shop to find it, the staff initially lost our order and then did not know where the driver was or how long it would be, simply telling us they were busy. The staff told us they would call the driver and then call us back, they did not. 50 minutes after it should have been delivered we called again, the staff chose to ignore us on the phone and speak what we can only presume was Chinese amongst themselves on the phone, rather than answering our questions. Whilst on the phone the driver eventually showed up we informed her that the management had given us 30 off the order. The driver tried to tell us she had only had the food for 10 minutes and proceeded to tell us to choke on it 10/10 for customer service, loving the cold food and will definitely not order from there again.
Customer service is polite and friendly and their food is always delicious and hot! I've been coming here for many years and would thoroughly recommend it.

been ordering from here for years, seen some rubbish reviews on here and I'm surprised, this is by far the best chinese in braintree. Basically if you're after an indian you go to balti nights, the nuts of indian food. In the same way, if you want a proper chinese you go to china village Always deliver fast, apart from on very busy nights, never late, food is quality.
Havent bought here for a while but have to say was fantastic when i did. I got to be a regular and would have food cooked without MSG. Always fresh and tasty.
