Clean. Good bed. Buffet breakfast. Attended wedding at Leez Priory and hotel gave reasonable fare taxi fare company
The hotel was great, we had a triple room for just 48 with a free breakfast. I was worried about the location initially but the hotel is quiet inside, don't worry about road noise. Its very close to a good selection of restaurants and shops, wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I was in the area. Staff were all very helpful!
This venue was about to undergo air conditioning upgrade and no heating in the rooms, had to ask for fan heater, not offered or advertised on the website or on booking. Had to call reception Wednesday mornin as no hot water, delayed my planned early departure by half hour. Would have given 5 stars if not for this poor management issue.
Heating was broken in the room, they did put a plug in heater in but rooms still cold. Mattress definitely needs replacing as springs could be felt through the mattress topper! Very friendly staff and good complementary breakfast hence not just one star given.
Ive stayed here twice now and, on both occasions, have been greeted exactly the same. Pleasant, and with a smile. The staff obviously know who want to converse and who would rather just get to their room.Really convenient location. Clean, spacious rooms and a nice (small) bar/food/breakfast area.Staff can make a big difference to your opinion of a hotel and on my first stay they did. On my return today Id never met the front of house staff before, but check-in was as personable as my previous check-out.Nice little HIX.
