I visited Braintree community hospital after a head injury. I feel off my bike and split my chin open. After driving myself to the hospital with blood running from my chin, the first person i saw at the hospital was a security guard at reception who didn't even greet me due to him being too busy speaking with his friends via video conference.Once I finally got his attention with blood dropping from my face. He pointed me in the direction of another empty looking reception with a grunt to suggest that I had to go to that desk. The second receptionist was sympathetic and kind, but all I was told was that nobody could help me and I my only option was to book a taxi to Broomfield.I was provided no medical attention while waiting for a family member to collect me, they refused to call an ambulance or allow me to drive due to being concussed. I was forced to use hand towels provided in a dispenser to soak up the blood from my face myself.While waiting I noticed a distinct lack of Doctors present. Several empty wards and rooms with nobody there. Very strange considering this hospital was only built a few years ago. I understand A&E exists for a reason but I feel that I experienced a serious case of "NOT MY JOB". AND NHS staff wonder why they're suffering cuts and negativity.
Beautiful showroom and tiles but placing a order is beyond diffiucult. No one ever answers the phone, no one ever replys to emails, so you have to travel to watford to place a order and then you can't collect the same day. So have to travel back again to collect.
Excellent service and the staff are very helpful and friendly. So polite too!The cafe they have there is amazing and is fairly priced, plus you get very generous portions!I was in and out of my last appointment in 20 minutes. There were a few people in the waiting room, but it was well managed and people were seen to quickly.Cannot recommend this hospital enough!
