I love this auto centre. I used to go there only for mot but since VW own service centre in Chelmsford let me down a few times I have gone to Halfords they have fixed my car and given me a great explanation. I do not get overcharged there and they listen to me when I come with a problem and make sure its resolved. Very friendly customer service.
Terrible experience with this place. Went in as had car engine light come on. As it went off just prior to the booking they charged me 50 to tell me what error came up earlier and to come back if it comes on again. So charged me to plug in their device tell me the error that's it. Then proceeded to find things wrong with my car. Somehow every indicator as incorrect. Either too bright.. not right colour.. not correctly placed. Felt like a nasty way to make sure the visit was over 100. Never go back.
Excellent service, did exactly what was asked and quickly too.
Great to deal with. Only issues I found is MOT paper work and invoices look like a child has done them. And if there is anything differnet about the car and it does not tally with their computer system, then they can't do the work needed. But other wise great help and service
